(Barcelona 1969) Clàudia Valsells has been working for more than 15 years in the world of colors and interior paint. She is currently the artistic and creative director of arts & claus. In 1988 she opened her first workshop of decorative paint. In parallel she studied wall paint in the Ecole supérieure de peinture Van der Kelen et Logelain in Brussels. Upon returning to Barcelona in 1994, she founded arts & claus a small workshop dedicated to experimenting colors and different painting techniques,

and rapidly became a reference in the sector. She is part of the third generation of a family dedicated to painting. After the merger of arts & claus and pipsa in 1996, Clàudia started managing the family business. During all these years she has devoted herself to the art of painting with periodic exhibitions in art galleries, which has a clear influence on the concepts and the approaches reflected in her projects. Her work as a colorist and an editor of

color cards truly stands out. She meticulously selects her colors from an infinite spectrum of colors, giving her own collections a very personal touch and a timeless character.
